Ok, so I got my new glasses today. I am learning how to hold my head so that I can read or look up without distortion or dizziness. So... if you see me walking with my nose in the air or staring at my feet, I am just trying to adjust my eyes so I can see. Bi-focals... they are not just for old people!
My friend got a ticket from one of those cameras. She did not come to a complete stop apparently. Now how can ya go to court and argue that one? That is kinda like cheating isn't it? I guess the playing field has been leveled between the big breasted woman and the rest of us... no offense meant, but I think we all know what I mean. I say this in good humor. See previous post for my disclosure on my warped sense of humor.

About Steve
If you want a really good laugh, go see About Steve with Sandra Bullock. I mean Sandra Bullock is in the movie, not go see it with her... unless you know her, then ok, go see it with her. The movie was hysterical. It is about girl who is set up on a blind date with this guy, Steve, the date only lasted about 7 minutes, but the rest of the movie she is convinced they are meant to be. Of course, I have been known to have a warped sense of humor, but I am sure you will laugh.
Her character was written a bit exaggerated, but anyone who has been single and feelin' somewhat desperate, will see the humor in this.
Have you ever wanted something so badly and for so long that when you are finally within reach, you screw it up, because you grasp and cling to it like it is going to disappear at any moment? No? Ok, maybe it is just me...

Tonight I introduce my girls to The Fly. Not the original with Vincent Price, the one with Jeff Goldblum. I love watching those sci-fi movies. My girls think they are corny, and they are, but very entertaining.
So I talked to my friend James tonight on the phone. He is so funny. He called a week ago and left a message that he would be waiting by the phone for me to call him back, so a few days later I finally call him back. Got his answering machine, I said, "uh, James, you are suppose to be by the phone." So, tonight he calls me back and says he was waiting for a week by the phone, and just when he had to step out for supplies, I called him back. He is so funny. I enjoy talking with him, he is a great encouragement for me in my studies. Tonight our discussion was on the death penalty and preemptory challenges. Very stimulating.
Speaking of which, take a look at my post below for the meeting coming up for Amnesty International.
So, I learned how to post pictures, oooh technology. I think tomorrow, which is today, I am gonna post some pictures from my trip up north.
Ok, the movie starts in 14 minutes, gotta run... "help me, help me..." (in a small fly voice)
